Event wars and respect lvl

How is the points determined in a event war for a win. I have seen that the higher the alliance respect lvl is the more points you get. Why do I never see a alliance with high respect lvl when I seek and destroy. How do I get my respect lvl up

- Points for a war is normally the avg of the respect level of the two alliances

- In seek and destroy, the game will use the avg level of players in your alliance to find opponent alliances with similar level numbers. So, if your  members are generally low-level, the opponents shown will be also of similar levels

- Alliance respect is earned on every war won, turf collect, deathmatch wins etc
